From Peruvian to Pizza, the food I ate in Miami was Delish! I can’t wait to go back and try even more food. Since traveling to Peru last winter and learning all about each classic Peruvian dish and the history behind them, I have become a HUGE Peruvian food lover. I was surprised by the number of Peruvian cusines in Miami.
One of my favorite restaurants was SuViche, a peruvian Resturant in Wynwood, Miami that specializes in Sushi and Ceviche. I ordered an amazing Quinoa Salad and a starter of Causa to share. My party ordered Sushi Rolls, Ceviche and a Peruvian classic Lomo Saltado.
Causa: A classic Peruvian appetizer consisting of potatoe, chicken salad, avocado and “salsa verde”. One of my all time favorite appetizers!
Basic Quinoa Salad:
Since I am a big salad lover, I decided to order their Chicken Quinoa Salad. It came with chicken, quinoa, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado and a delicious teriyaki and ginger dressing.
I saw this in a shop window and I thought that it would be an awesome addition to this post! The chef making a ravioli-like Italian dish completely from scratch. It was fascinating to watch.
